Work by Babe Adams

HAMILTON HEIGHTS,  NY, May 15, 2025

If you blinked you missed it. But if you were lucky enough to wander down the narrow hall on Shepard’s fourth floor, you might have stepped into a world of magic created by artists.  MFA candidates opened their studio doors, for a few hours on a Thursday afternoon, and gave a closeup look at what they are doing, thinking and showing.

Babe Adams, a teaching assistant and artist displayed work that pulled you into the brillliant color field.

Jesus Medina created a project about the Amazon and his studio enveloped you in a sweet, earthy fragrance that came from the plants and herbs in the middle of the work.
