If you blinked you missed it. But if you were lucky enough to wander down the narrow hall on Shepard’s fourth floor, you might have stepped into artists’ magic. MFA candidates opened their studio doors and gave a closeup look at what they are doing, thinking and showing.

Babe Adams, a teaching assistant and artist displayed work that seem to pull you into the color field.

 

 

 

Jesus Medina has been working on a project about the Amazon and his studio enveloped you in a sweet, earthy fragrance that came from the plants and herbs in the middle of the work.
